Time Is Money. Even When It Feels Like It's Not...

There’s this interesting thing that happens when the world grinds to a halt and every day business is interrupted; we suddenly find ourselves with more time. What do you do with that time? First, most will handle the burning list of new items and activities that come from whatever issues are at hand. In this case, COVID-19 caused significant disruption to our friends and clients in the hospitality and foodservice equipment business seemingly overnight. We know that disruption leads to chaos, and in chaos there’s great opportunity.

As the industry adjusts to the “new normal”, businesses have been given the opportunity to look at where they spent their time and therefore measure its value. The funny thing about it is that the value may have changed in some cases given the current circumstances. Lines a rep spent countless hours on may not be around in the future. So in retrospect was that time spent wisely? Regardless of the answer, one thing hasn’t changed and that is time IS still money. All a rep can do now is decide on what to spend their TIME or MONEY in the present and WHERE to spend their time in the future. How do you do that when there are so many unknowns?

It’s simple… start by analyzing past results and performance! Then with that knowledge, we recommend reviewing the current landscape and identify where you can correct past mistakes. Rep firms have vast amounts of information already at their fingertips, but oftentimes it’s not organized or easily digestible. That’s where our software can help, so you can make better decisions in the future.
